SWABI: The first death anniversary of Mashaal Khan who was lynched by a mob in Abdul Wali Khan (AWK) University Mardan, was observed in his ancestral area at district Swabi.
Death anniversary was participated by his relatives and area citizenry. Fateha was offered and wreath was laid on the grave of Mashaal Khan.
Talking to media, father of Mashaal Khan said that he would soon held a public gathering in memory of his son adding date would be announced in consultation with his friends.
He said that apex court would be approached against the decision of Anti Terrorism Court. He also thanked Imran Khan for his visit but regretted that provincial government did not keep its promises.
It is pertinent to mention that Mashaal Khan was killed by a mob in AWK University over alleged blasphemy. …APP
