TURBAT: Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a group of people on Tuesday, resulting in the death of five people, including a police officer in Turbat area of Balochistan.
The incident took place in Naseerabad, and the deceased were transported to the hospital. However, the initial report indicates that the identities of the victims remain unknown. A search operation has been launched to apprehend the attackers.
In July, a tragic explosion near Shara-e-Iqbal, Bukhari Centre in Quetta claimed the lives of four individuals, with eight others sustaining injuries. Police authorities stated that the blast occurred as the vehicle of Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Saddar was passing through the area.
Notably, SP Investigation Saddar was not in his vehicle at the time of the explosion. The blast also caused damage to several cars in the vicinity.
