ABBOTTABAD: Local police reported that five members of a same family were died in their sleep in jurisdiction of Nawan Shahr police station of Abbottabad.
The victims include a mother and her four children, who tragically lost their lives to gas poisoning within the confines of their home.
Initial investigations suggest that the family was using a gas heater in their room, which unfortunately turned into the source of their demise. The fumes, likely carbon monoxide, permeated the enclosed space, leading to the tragic outcome.
The sole survivor of the incident is the father, who reportedly lost consciousness due to the gas but managed to recover. Currently receiving medical attention, he is expected to share more details about the incident in due course.
