Security forces in Pakistan carried out two successful intelligence-based operations between June 15 and 16, targeting militants connected to Indian sponsored terrorism. These actions took place in Peshawar and North Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The first operation occurred in Peshawar. Based on solid intelligence, security personnel located a hideout of militants associated with Indian backed terrorism. The troops swiftly surrounded the area. A fierce gunfight followed. In the exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed. Two of the slain individuals were identified as Kharji Haris and Kharji Baseer.
On the same day, another raid was launched in North Waziristan. During this encounter, one more terrorist involved in India-linked extremist activities was gunned down by Pakistani forces. He too was part of the group known for spreading Indian proxy terrorism in the region.
Security teams recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the dead militants. The group had been behind several acts of terror in the area. Their activities were part of a larger terrorist agenda pushed by external handlers.
Sanitization efforts are ongoing. Troops are sweeping the area to clear any remaining elements of India-sponsored terrorism. Pakistan’s security forces remain firm in their resolve to crush this foreign-backed threat and protect the nation from such acts of subversion.
