KARACHI: the sister of former cricket team captain Shahid Khan Afridi has passed away after undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
The funeral prayers for the deceased took place at Zikriya Mosque in Defense Phase-8 following the Zuhr prayer. Shahid Afridi had earlier requested prayers for his sister’s recovery on social media.
The burial occurred at Gulshan Iqbal 13-D Cemetery in Karachi. The funeral prayers, held at Zakaria Mosque in Defense Phase-8, saw the presence of Shahid Afridi’s close relatives, friends, former cricketers, legendary squash player Jahangir Khan, and actors. Attendees gathered to pray for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
(إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ,)
