PESHAWAR: : Four terrorists including a High-Value Terrorist commander were killed in an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in the Badaber area of Peshawar on Thursday, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release.
According to ISPR, the security forces raided terrorists’ hideout on the reports of the presence of terrorists.
The operation resulted in an intense exchange of gunfire between the security forces and the terrorists. During the intense exchange of gunfire, four terrorists were sent to hell. They were identified as a High-Value Terrorist (HVT), Terrorist Commander Samiullah @ Shenay, Terrorist Commander Salman @ Ahmed, terrorist Imran @ Muhammad, and terrorist Hazrat Umar @ Khalid—all of whom were wanted to the law enforcement agencies.
The killed terrorists were actively involved in various nefarious activities, including extortion and targeted killings in the region. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also seized from their possession.
Simultaneously, in another operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan District, after a fierce exchange of fire with terrorists, Lance Naik Muhammad Ejaz Khan (34 years old, resident of Bagh, Azad Kashmir) fought bravely but tragically embraced Shahadat.
Ongoing efforts include the sanitization of the surrounding areas to neutralize any remaining terrorists, underscoring the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s Security Forces to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
