Swat: The funeral prayers for a policeman killed in a terrorist attack at a check post were held at Javed Iqbal Shaheed Police Lines on Thursday.
Police Head Constable Rehman Ullah was killed in the attack, which took place at a check post in the Banr area of Swat.
The funeral was attended by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), District Police Officer (DPO), and other police personnel. Floral bouquets were placed on the coffin, and a guard of honor was presented.
Following the funeral prayer, the body of the martyred constable was transported to his native village with full honors.
DIG Malakand Ali Khan inspected the attack site and assessed the security situation. The Superintendent of Police for Counter-Terrorism Department (SP CTD) briefed the DIG about the incident.
