According to a recent Gallup Pakistan survey, Nawaz Sharif has become the most popular leader in Punjab, gaining ground nationally, while Imran Khan’s popularity has slightly declined.
The survey, conducted in June and December, reveals Nawaz’s national popularity rose from 36% to 52%, whereas Imran’s declined from 60% to 57%.
In Punjab, Nawaz scored 60% against Imran’s 53%, potentially impacting future elections. Notably, the overall mood suggests a close competition between PTI and PML-N in Punjab, with a marginal 2% gap.
This narrowing gap could influence both parties’ seat acquisition, as Punjab holds over half of the National Assembly seats.
