A gas cylinder explosion at a shop near Ring Road Peshawar’s Kabootar Chowk resulted in injuries to at least 20 individuals on Monday. Prompt response from rescue authorities led to the injured being swiftly transported to a local hospital.
The immediate cause of the explosion remains undetermined. Additionally, a fire broke out at a private hospital near Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar on January 14, which was successfully extinguished after a two-hour effort.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries in this incident. Notably, in December of the previous year, a gas cylinder explosion in Karachi’s Machar Colony claimed one life and left seven others injured.
