Govt launching Immigration and Welfare Policy soon: Senate told

ISLAMABAD: Senate was informed on Friday that government is launching National Immigration and Welfare Policy for overseas Pakistanis soon.
Responding to a question, Minister of State for Communication Murad Saeed told the House that government will solve the problems of overseas Pakistani on priority basis.
He said a package is being introduced to increase the remittances of the country.
Responding to a question, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said government is committed to promote sports activities in the country.
He said Abbottabad cricket stadium is occasionally used for conducting cricket training camps for both men and women cricket teams. He said there are no plans to hold Pakistan Super League matches in Abbottabad. He said however, Abbottabad cricket stadium is regularly used for domestic cricket matches.
