This year marks Khyber TV’s twentieth anniversary, celebrated with a prestigious awards ceremony at Khabar TV’s Islamabad Center. The event at Gulab Khan Auditorium was attended by Khyber stars, senior executives, and dignitaries from various sectors. Reflecting on the journey, CEO Mr. Kamran Hamid Raja expressed profound joy and gratitude, attributing their unprecedented success to the hard work and dedication of the team.
The theme of the anniversary event, “Shal Kala Be Misala,” symbolized twenty years of unparalleled achievement. Outstanding individuals from various fields were honored during the ceremony, which also featured remarks by Khyber TV’s COO, Mr. Jawad Hamid Raja, emphasizing their commitment to delivering quality visual content.
The award show, themed “Shal Kala BeMisala” (20 Years of Unparalleled Performance), recognized outstanding contributions in various categories. “Our top management is our strength, and we call them Satoon e Khyber (pillars of Khyber),” said Mr. Kaiwan Hamid Raja, the Director of StratCom and PR, explaining the reason behind the title. “They have been the backbone of our organization, and we are proud to acknowledge their efforts.”
Noteworthy stars of Khyber TV, including Meena Shams, Zaki ur Rehman, and Qazi Arif Mehmood, received special recognition for their pivotal roles in the channel’s success. Meena Shams, recipient of the Khyberina Award, has been a household name in Pashto entertainment for two decades. Zaki urr Rehman, honored with the Imtiaz-e-Khiber award, is celebrated as a shining star in Pashto entertainment. The Nishan-i-Khyber award was bestowed upon Qazi Arif Mehmood, recognized for his significant contributions to the overall success of Khyber Network.
