The Hangu security forces operation stopped a large-scale terrorist infiltration attempt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Heavy clashes broke out between security forces and militants when more than 100 terrorists tried to enter the district from Orakzai’s mountainous areas.

A successful Hangu security forces operation cleared schools, public property, and surrounding mountainous regions. Authorities restored control in all affected areas after securing them completely.
According to local sources, the militants failed to achieve their objective due to strong resistance from security forces. The situation was brought under control after coordinated efforts by all law enforcement agencies.
Inspector General of Police praised the courage of the personnel involved. He said the forces showed great bravery in protecting the lives and property of citizens. He also announced cash rewards and certificates for the teams involved in the mission.
Officials further stated that the Hangu security forces operation reflects the commitment of law enforcement agencies to eliminate terrorism from the region and ensure lasting peace.
