ATTOCK: In line with the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the IG Punjab, the District Police Officer of Attock, Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan, has led the Police Station Sadar Hasan Abdal in ongoing successful operations against those involved in drug trafficking.
According to sources, the police recently arrested a drug smuggler named Abid Ali, son of Abdul Khaliq, a resident of Islamkot. During the operation, the police recovered 2 kilograms of hashish and 120 grams of crystal meth (ice) from Abid Ali, who was attempting to smuggle the drugs. The police successfully thwarted his efforts.
In another operation, the Hasan Abdal police arrested a motorcycle thief named Mangal Khan. He was accused of stealing a motorcycle from outside a citizen’s house. The police took him into custody, recovering spare parts of the stolen motorcycle and some money.
The Hasan Abdal police stated that drug dealers deserve no leniency, and the safety of citizens remains their top priority. They also appealed to the public to immediately report any drug trafficking or other criminal activities to the police for prompt action.
