At least 88 people have been killed and 958 houses were damaged in rain related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in past two months.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), out of 88, 43 were children, 26 were men, and 19 were women.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the heavy rains have injured at least 129 people since last month, including 61 children, 39 men, and 29 women.
The severe weather has also caused significant damage to homes, with 958 houses affected in total. Out of these, 260 houses have been completely destroyed, while 698 have been partially damaged.
These figures were reported a day after a tragic landslide in the Upper Dir district killed 12 members of a family, including nine children. The landslide struck their house early on Friday morning in the Maidan area of Upper Dir.
