Heavy rains across different cities have caused tragic incidents, with at least nine people losing their lives after roofs and walls collapsed in several areas.
According to reports, a house collapsed in Hajia Gali area of Abbottabad, resulting in the deaths of five people and injuries to four others. The deceased included three children.
Meanwhile, heavy rains also damaged houses in Nowshera, Tank, Bajaur, Karak, North and South Waziristan, and Bannu.
Rain was also reported in several districts of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Lodhran, Vehari, Chiniot, Hafizabad, and Bahawalpur, along with other areas of the province.
The Meteorological Department has forecast intermittent rain in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until Tuesday.
