Islamabad Diagnostic Centre (IDC), a popular medical facility frequented by residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi for various tests, is currently experiencing delays in issuing crucial patient reports. Since Friday, many patients have faced uncertainty about when their reports will be available online, leading to growing frustration.
Patients have expressed their disappointment over the lack of communication from IDC regarding the timeline for report availability. An IDC helpline representative acknowledged the issue, citing an ongoing technical problem but was unable to provide a specific timeframe for its resolution. When asked about the possibility of collecting reports in person, the representative could not offer any guarantees.
One affected patient shared their experience, stating that a medical report typically issued within 24 hours had been delayed for over 26 hours. Despite multiple attempts to get answers from the helpline, the patient received no clear information on when the reports would be accessible. The ongoing delays have heightened anxiety among patients, particularly those needing urgent test results. One concerned individual expressed fears that prolonged delays could exacerbate the patient’s condition if immediate medical action is required.
When contacted for verification, an IDC representative confirmed the technical difficulties and assured that efforts were underway to resolve the issue, suggesting it would be fixed within an hour. However, as of now, there is no confirmation that the problem has been addressed, leaving patients in continued uncertainty over IDC reports.
