ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the arrest warrants of Imran Khan till tomorrow in the Tosakhana case.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the petition of Imran Khan for suspension of his arrest warrants issued by the Session Court in the Tosakhana case.
Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris and Barrister Gohar appeared before the court, and PTI leader Shibli Faraz was also present in the court.
After hearing the arguments of the Imran Khan’s lawyers, the Chief Justice suspended the arrest warrants of Imran Khan and directed him to appear before the trial court tomorrow. The court also directed the Islamabad administration and police to make security arrangements for Imran Khan.
The court remarked that if Imran Khan did not appear before the court tomorrow, there would be serious legal consequences for Imran Khan.
