ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday will begin hearing of appeals filed by the Sharif family against their sentences in Avenfield properties reference.
A two-member division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb will take up the appeals.
Earlier, the former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt. Retd Safdar had submitted appeals in IHC against Avenfield reference verdict.
The petitioners had requested the court to annul the decision pertaining to their imprisonment, fine, disqualification and forfeiture of property.
