ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Monday arrested lawyer Imaan Hazir Mazari and her husband Abdul Hadi over allegations of obstructing government operations.
The arrest stems from a scuffle at the Aabpara police precinct involving traffic protocol set up for the visiting England cricket team.
According to police reports, the confrontation occurred at Islamabad’s Zero Point Interchange as the England team was en route to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium for their last match.
