ISLAMABAD: Zartaj Gul has been nominated as the Parliamentary Leader of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) in the National Assembly.
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan approved Zartaj Gul’s appointment to this position.
PTI had proposed four candidates for the role, including Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan, Zain Qureshi, and Ahmad Chatha.
It is reported that the head of the Sunni Ittehad Council will formally inform the National Assembly about Zartaj Gul’s nomination on Monday.
