Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has made a significant move in the Tosha Khana case by replacing his lawyers, Latif Khosa and Shehbaz Khosa.
The Accountability Court, presided over by Judge Muhammad Basheer at Adiala Jail, heard references related to Tosha Khana and 190 million pounds against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister, was present during the proceedings.
In a notable development, Imran Khan appointed Sikandar Zulqarnain and Salman Safdar as his new legal representation, seeking time to submit necessary documents until January 27.
Consequently, the court adjourned the Tosha Khana case hearing to January 27 and the 190 million pound reference hearing to January 30.
The adjournment in proceedings was attributed to Bushra Bibi’s absence, and the court directed her to appear on January 30.
It’s noteworthy that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have not been charged in the 190 million pound reference.
Earlier reports had indicated Imran Khan’s dissatisfaction with Latif Khosa’s performance in the Tosha Khana case.
