Imran Khan to live at Ministers Enclave after taking oath as PM


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan would not live at the Prime Minister’s House after taking oath as the chief executive of Pakistan.
Talking to newsmen at Bani Gala on Friday, the PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran Khan would live in a minister’s house at Ministers Enclave. He said that Imran Khan would neither be shifting to prime minister house nor Punjab House. He said that the new prime minister would also not live at speaker house, but at a minister’s house at the Ministers Enclave. He said that Imran Khan would pay for the renovation of the minister’s house. He said that Imran Khan would live at Punjab House for few days till completion of repairing of the minister’s house.
The PTI spokesman claimed that the PTI and Imran Khan have paid for the security arrangements at Bani Gala, adding that no official funds were spent on the security of Bani Gala.
Speaking on this occasion, Faisal Javed confirmed that besides 1992 World Cup- champions, three former Indian cricketers Kapil Dev, Novjot Singh Sidhu, Sunil Gavaskar had been also invited to Imran Khan’s oath-taking ceremony. He said that Kapil Dev and Sidhu have confirmed participation, while Sunil Gavaskar was busy in commentary for test matches.
