“But,I want to tell these mafias that no matter what you do we will fight you and bring change in our province,” added PTI chairman.
He said that his fight against corrupt elements will also continue and KP government will leave those who looted public money. “Whether it is a PTI rep or anyone else, our accountability bodies will not leave them, said Imran Khan.
He also said that his party government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would plant 1 billion trees by 2018 to counter global warming.
“Pakistan is one of the top 10 countries worst affected by global warming…we are the first government that is working for climate,” Imran said while speaking at Peshawar’s Islamia College event on completion of 100 years of existence.
“I want volunteers from this massive force of students here today to join us in this tree plantation initiative and set example for rest of the world,” he told cheering students.
He asked vice chancellor of the university to use properties of college properly to generate endowment funds, which he said, would be used to give scholarships to young students who don’t have sufficient money to pay fees.
Highlighting the importance of education, Imran told students that it teaches to tackle difficult times.
“When you dream big, chase it, you will face difficult times. You will fall too. But remember, education teaches you to tackle it,” he said
