Imran Khan’s Hypocrisy Exposed: His Sons Stay Safe Abroad While Pakistani Youth Rot in Jails

Once again, Imran Khan’s hypocrisy has been laid bare—this time from behind bars.

Speaking from Adiala Jail, the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder confirmed that he recently spoke with his sons, Kasim and Suleman. According to him, they’ll visit Pakistan soon—but with one clear instruction: stay away from politics.

Yes, the same Imran Khan who has constantly urged the youth of Pakistan to take to the streets. The same man who riled up students, jobless graduates, and first-time voters with slogans of revolution. The same party that weaponized social media to radicalize the young minds of this country. Now, he ensures that his own sons will not step foot into even a symbolic protest.

While ordinary Pakistani boys are locked behind bars for following his calls—some without trials, many without hope—his children live comfortably abroad. No rallies. No speeches. No risk of jail or police batons. Just safety and silence.

This is not just hypocrisy. This is betrayal.

On 9 May, the youth of Pakistan answered PTI’s call to action. Many were misled into believing they were defending democracy. In reality, they were pawns in a reckless game. They vandalized national symbols, clashed with law enforcement, and now, many are facing long prison sentences.

Where was Kasim Khan then? Where was Suleman Khan? Enjoying life in London while the sons of this nation were dragged through anti-terror courts.

PTI leaders, too, ensured their own families stayed far from harm’s way. Not a single son or daughter of a PTI bigwig was seen protesting. Only the ordinary youth of Pakistan were thrown into the fire.

Now, from the comfort of his jail cell, Imran Khan says, “My sons won’t be part of any movement.” It’s convenient, isn’t it? To burn bridges for others and build walls around your own.

This is the classic elite playbook: Exploit the poor, manipulate the idealistic, and protect your own.

And yet, many still follow him blindly. That’s the tragedy.

Imran Khan built his image on honesty and justice. But actions speak louder than slogans. When the moment of truth arrived, he protected his own blood while sacrificing the nation’s youth. Is this the leader Pakistan deserves?

The public must ask tough questions. If your child is behind bars because of a PTI protest, know that Imran Khan’s children will never face the same fate. They are protected. Yours are expendable.

It’s time to stop worshipping false idols and start holding them accountable.
