LAHORE: PTI’s vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has offered talks to police for solution to the current impasse outside Zaman Park over arrest warrant of Imran Khan.
Talking to newsmen outside Zaman Park, Qureshi said that the police should show him and PTI’s legal team arrest warrants of the Imran Khan, adding that if police convinced them, the PTI chairman may himself surrender to police. He said that after going through arrest warrants he could give them a way out of the current impasse.
He said that they are aware of the intentions of the police. He emphasized that they do not want any bloodshed and want to talk. They have become conscious and the ground has slipped from under their feet.
“We do not want any harm to the lives or property of anyone.” He said that Imran Khan is the Chairman of the party and will remain so.
He said that the rulers wanted to sabotage the upcoming elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as they are in panic due to popularity of Imran Khan.
