A fresh case of alleged security negligence has surfaced in India after an accidental gunshot was fired from a police officer’s weapon during the last rites of Ajit Pawar, who reportedly died in a plane crash.
According to sources, the incident occurred while a large number of people were present at the funeral ceremony. At the time of the incident, India’s Home Minister Amit Shah was also at the venue and remained unharmed.
The sudden firing caused panic and fear among attendees, triggering brief chaos at the event. However, no casualties were reported.
