Multiple pieces of Indian drone wreckage have been discovered in three cities of Punjab. The wreckage was found in Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Chakwal during separate incidents.
In Gujranwala, Pakistan’s air defense system shot down a drone in the early hours. The unmanned aircraft was intercepted near Solkhanabad. Its broken remains were collected from the site. Officials have now sent the debris to a lab for detailed analysis.
Later the same night, explosions rocked the Pir Jand suburb of Gujrat. Local police reached the scene and began a search. They found four pieces of Indian drone wreckage spread across the area. One fragment tore through the roof of a house. The home belongs to a resident named Nawaz. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Authorities are investigating how and why the drone entered Pakistani airspace. They believe the drone debris may reveal key technical details. So far, no injuries or damage to critical infrastructure have been reported.
In a third incident, a drone crashed in Chakwal. The location was near Diwalian in the Dhamman area. Police confirmed that the wreckage was seized immediately. Investigators are trying to determine the drone’s path and mission.
All three cases have alarmed security officials. The pattern of these crashes points to a serious breach. Experts are now analyzing the unmanned aerial fragments to uncover their origin. The possibility of coordinated surveillance activity has not been ruled out.
Pakistani authorities are on alert. They have intensified monitoring along sensitive areas. Any future breach by hostile drones will be dealt with firmly.
