Childish behavior is what PML-N leadership is exhibiting: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Tuesday tendered an apology to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad for restricting their movements due to barricades put up by his government to halt PTI’s protestors.
Addressing a news conference, Chaudhry Nisar said that he is thankful to the citizens of Islamabad for the difficulties they have to face in the capital city over the last few days. “I also apologize to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for what happened on motorway,” he said.
The Interior Minister, however, dispelled the impression that his government tried to block the entry of Pakhtuns. “This was only against few thousands led by the government of a party. “I ask the PTI workers what will be their reaction if we announce the shut down of Peshawar,” he said.
Nisar said that his party respects the announcement of Imran Khan to call off his protest. “It is nobody’s victory or defeat. It is the victory of democracy,” he said.
The interior minister also paid tributes to Jamaat-e-Islami head Siraj ul Haq for defusing the situation.
