Iran launched a large-scale missile attack on Israel, injuring more than 200 people. Sirens blared across Tel Aviv and other major cities as residents rushed to safety.
In response, Israel reportedly carried out counterstrikes against Iranian positions. The United States claimed to have destroyed 58 Iranian naval vessels and neutralized 31 sea mines in retaliation.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with missiles, causing significant damage.
Elsewhere, a drone attack hit a US military residence in Dubai. In northern Iraq, a French military base in the Makhmur region came under a drone strike, killing one soldier and wounding several others.
The situation has escalated rapidly, raising fears of a wider conflict in the Middle East.
