A powerful Islamabad G-11 Judicial Complex explosion shook the federal capital on Tuesday, leaving at least five people dead and around 14 injured. The blast took place outside the court premises, striking people standing nearby. Authorities recovered the head of an alleged suicide bomber from the site, raising suspicions of a planned terrorist attack rather than an accidental blast.
According to initial reports, the explosion occurred in a car parked within the Judicial Complex parking area, which later caught fire. Rescue teams and security personnel quickly reached the scene, cordoning off the area and evacuating the entire complex to prevent further casualties.
Eyewitnesses reported scenes of panic as people rushed to safety following the Islamabad G-11 Judicial Complex explosion. Rescue officials confirmed that nine dead bodies were shifted to PIMS Hospital, while several wounded individuals are receiving emergency medical treatment. Some of the victims were bystanders caught in the blast’s radius.
Meanwhile, political observers have linked the attack to India’s ongoing attempts to destabilize Pakistan. Reports suggest that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is amplifying false flag narratives in Delhi while using proxies from the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij to execute cross-border terrorist operations. The Islamabad incident came just a day after the Wana Cadet College attack, further fueling suspicions of coordinated aggression aimed at Pakistan.
Islamabad IGP Ali Nasir Rizvi briefed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi about the situation. The minister, who visited the site and spoke to media representatives, ordered a detailed investigation into the suspected suicide blast and directed security agencies to identify and arrest those responsible. He emphasized that the search operation must be completed promptly to restore security and confidence in the capital.
