ISLAMABAD: An accident involving a green line metro bus and a passenger coach in Bara Kahu, Islamabad, resulted in thirteen students getting injured.
The students, from Wazirabad on a school trip, suffered minor injuries when their vehicle collided with the metro bus.
Rescue officials promptly transported the injured students to a nearby hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
In a separate incident related to foggy conditions, four individuals lost their lives in road accidents in Nawabshah and Khairpur districts on Thursday evening.
In Nawabshah, a collision between a university bus and a van near Qazi Ahmed claimed three lives, including that of a woman, and left several others injured. Another road mishap involved a Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University bus.
Meanwhile, in Khairpur district, a coach overturned at Therhi Bypass due to fog-related visibility issues, resulting in one fatality and injuries to 25 individuals. Five of the injured are reportedly in critical condition, and they have been promptly shifted to the hospital for medical care.
“A passenger coach from Punjab bound for Karachi overturned at the bypass,” stated rescue workers.
