Islamabad Police Arrest 539 Illegal Afghan Nationals from Park, following a large-scale operation targeting undocumented residents living in the city. Authorities have confirmed that the detainees will be transferred to the Afghanistan border via Haji Camp.

According to sources, police conducted the operation in Islamabad’s Argentina Park, under the jurisdiction of the Abpara Police Station. A total of 438 illegal Afghan nationals were found living in makeshift tents in a section of the park for several months.

A heavy contingent of police participated in the operation. Officials reported that the detainees failed to present any valid visas or official documents, leading to their immediate detention.

Transfer to Afghanistan Border

Authorities stated that all 539 Afghan nationals arrested during the operation will be sent to Afghanistan through Haji Camp. The action highlights Islamabad Police’s ongoing efforts to remove illegal residents and maintain law and order in the capital.
