ISPR Summer Camp 2026 Brings Together 4,000 Students

ISPR Summer Camp 2026

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has wrapped up its ISPR Summer Camp 2026, bringing together young participants from across the country for a program focused on national awareness and youth development.

According to details shared by ISPR, the camp drew more than 4,000 students representing over 18 stations nationwide, making it one of the larger youth engagement efforts organized by the institution this year.

A Special Session on Pakistan’s History and Ideology

As part of the Pakistan youth summer camp, Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, Dr. Anees Ahmad, conducted a dedicated session with attendees. The discussion centered on Pakistan’s journey through the past, present and future, along with a detailed look at the Two-Nation Theory.

Speaking to the students, Dr. Anees Ahmad explained that the ideology behind Pakistan’s creation gave Muslims of the subcontinent the intellectual grounding needed to demand a distinct identity and a homeland of their own. He further noted that Pakistan’s Constitution guarantees full religious, social and legal protection to minority communities living in the country.

Remarks on Regional Policies and the Kashmir Issue

Dr. Anees Ahmad also touched on regional dynamics, stating that what he described as India’s extremist-leaning policies and its treatment of minority groups had raised fresh doubts about the country’s claimed secular character.

On the Kashmir dispute, he characterized Pakistan’s position as principled, steady and unambiguous, reaffirming a stance the country has long maintained on the issue.

Encouraging Students to Think Independently

Turning his attention to the students themselves, Dr. Anees Ahmad encouraged them to build their own perspectives by engaging with history, conducting research and relying on credible sources rather than accepting narratives at face value. He added that the country’s youth are well-positioned to channel their talents toward meaningful change and should actively contribute to Pakistan’s growth.

ISPR’s Broader Goal Behind the Initiative

In its statement, ISPR described the ISPR Summer Camp 2026 as a key initiative designed to strengthen the capabilities of young people while fostering a stronger sense of national awareness among the next generation.

With participation drawn from stations across the country, the camp reflects a continued push by ISPR to engage students directly on questions of history, identity and civic responsibility — reinforcing the role such programs play in shaping how young Pakistanis understand their nation’s past and its path forward.
