KARACHI: A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted after being tricked with promises of a government job opportunity.
The victim filed a case stating that the accused, Fahad, invited her for a job interview and then assaulted her in the Gulistan-e-Johar area.
She mentioned that Fahad, claiming to have a senior police officer as his father, threatened her not to speak out about the assault.
The woman appealed to the Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) to apprehend Fahad and ensure justice, warning of drastic action if he goes unpunished.
The police confirmed the accused’s bail and await a DNA report, with the case registered at Sharah-e-Faisal police station on the victim’s complaint.
