ISLAMABAD: On the request of the opposition parties, the joint session of the parliament has been postponed till September 17, Monday.
The decision was taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan due to funeral prayers and Resm-e-Qul of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
President Arif Alvi was due to address the joint session of the parliament on Thursday. The PML-N and PPP had urged the government to delay the joint session till next week.
