ISLAMABAD – Senior Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was hospitalised after suffering a heart attack, the party confirmed in an official statement on Thursday.
According to JUI-F, Haideri experienced cardiac complications late last night and was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Islamabad, where he is currently under treatment.
The party said doctors are closely monitoring his condition. Senior political figures, including JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and Senator Kamran Murtaza, visited the hospital to inquire about his health.
Supporters and political colleagues have expressed concern and prayers for his recovery as news of his hospitalization spread.
