Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Liaison Rana Sanaullah met with Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq, who called for an increase in the budget grant for the region.
During their meeting, issues related to the upcoming budget and development work in Kashmir were discussed. Chaudhry Anwaar highlighted that the budget grant for Azad Jammu and Kashmir has not increased in the past five years and stressed the need for an increase to meet the targets of annual development projects.
Minister Sanaullah assured that the proposal to increase the budget grant would be positively considered. He emphasized that the government would utilize available resources for the economic development and social prosperity of Azad Kashmir and provide necessary support to offer relief to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
