In a major counterterrorism operation, security forces eliminated seven terrorists and injured ten others in Khuzdar’s Zehri area, as part of a crackdown against Fitna al-Hindustan, a group blamed for carrying out India-backed sabotage activities in Balochistan. The operation, which remains ongoing, was launched after intelligence reports confirmed the presence and movement of militants in the rugged mountainous terrain around Zehri.
According to security sources, the terrorists had been harassing and intimidating local residents, creating fear among communities. Acting swiftly on the intelligence, security forces deployed a large contingent of ground troops supported by helicopters to flush out the militants. Fierce fighting erupted in the area, resulting in the elimination of seven terrorists on the spot, while at least ten others sustained injuries during the engagement.

Officials reaffirmed that the operation will continue until Fitna al-Hindustan and all India-backed elements involved in destructive activities across Zehri and Balochistan are completely wiped out.
