Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor ready for negotiations with Taliban

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said they were ready to hold talks with Taliban.
Talking to media after three explosions in Charsadda that killed at least five people and injured 12 others, the Governor said that talks could be held with anyone. He said but it does not mean that they would bow down before the Taliban.
The Governor maintained that terrorism was a challenge for the government adding that Pakistan Army has managed to deal with terrorism to a great extent.
Meanwhile, the Governor House issued a statement explaining that that Governor’s hint of talks with anyone was not meant for Taliban.
The statement added that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was a banned terrorist group and no negotiations could be held with it.
