Recent Defence Collaboration Between Pakistan and Jordan

The visit follows closely after Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir met King Abdullah II in Amman, Jordan. Their meeting highlighted the strong diplomatic and defence partnership, with both sides reviewing opportunities for mutual cooperation. Areas of focus included defence collaboration, security measures, and regional developments. Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its long-standing ties with Jordan.

Warm Welcome at Nur Khan Airbase

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari were also present at the airbase to welcome the Jordanian monarch. The reception reflects the high importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Jordan.

This visit underscores the growing diplomatic, economic, and security collaboration between Pakistan and Jordan, reinforcing both countries’ commitment to a stronger regional partnership.
