KP CM advisor gives cheques to families of BKU’s victims

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister on Prisons Malik Qasim Khattak Friday visited Gurguri and handed over compensation cheques to the two victims of Baacha Khan University (BKU) incident.
The compensation cheques were given to the families of Ahmad Kamal Khattak and Muhammad Ilyas Khattak who lost their lives in the terror incident.
He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
Advisor while expressing solidarity with family members said that amount cannot bring back the precious lives in the incident but a sincere effort of the government to share the grief of bereaved families.
He also condemned killing of innocent students and staff members and said that perpetrators have nothing to do with any caste, religion and creed adding they would be brought to justice very soon. – APP
