KP Government Overhauls Recruitment System Through ETA, introducing a major reform to ensure transparency and efficiency in public sector hiring. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has mandated that all government recruitment, both ongoing and future, will now be conducted exclusively through the Education Testing and Evaluation Authority (ETA). KP Government Overhauls Recruitment System Through ETA as part of a broader initiative to standardize hiring practices across all provincial departments and strengthen merit-based recruitment.
According to a notification from the Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperatives Department, the new procedure is effective immediately. All current recruitment processes must now be coordinated with ETA, while any recruitment outside this framework will require special approval from the relevant department secretary. This move ends prior practices where internal departments or external agencies managed hiring independently.
The government has also established a fast-track cell to expedite General Provident Fund (GPF) payments for retired employees, providing timely financial support to those awaiting their dues. Departments are instructed to fully cooperate with ETA in managing recruitment advertisements, test schedules, and results. A detailed report on the implementation of this directive must be submitted within seven days.
With this comprehensive policy, the KP government aims to create a more transparent, merit-based recruitment system, reducing delays and increasing public confidence in the hiring process. The reform underscores the province’s commitment to modernizing governance and ensuring accountability in public service employment.
