Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government wants to make sure that the admission process for medical and dental colleges is fair and transparent, as per the Chief Minister’s vision.
To do this, they’ve formed a committee led by the Additional Chief Secretary Interior. This committee includes people from the district administration, intelligence agencies, and related departments. Their job is to make sure the test is clean and transparent.
The decision to create this committee was made during a meeting with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan.
They discussed the preparations for the MDCAT test, which is for getting into medical and dental colleges in the province. This test will happen on November 26, 2023, with 46,220 registered candidates in seven districts.
There’s an important note that 219 candidates who cheated in the last test are not allowed to participate.
The caretaker chief minister stressed the need for strong arrangements to prevent cheating in this test. He promised to provide all the necessary resources to ensure the test is fair and transparent, including security and administrative help.
