PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has released Rs2 billion for Health Card Program.
According to details, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Advisor Dr. Riaz Anwar said that Health Card Service was stopped due to lack of funds.
Dr. Riaz stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has released Rs2 billion for Health Card Program, after which the facility of free treatment on health card has been restored.
According to the Health Advisor, certain development projects have been banned in Medical Teaching Institutions (MTI) hospitals, therefore the management of the hospitals should focus on treatment instead of constructing new buildings.
Earlier this week, the insurance company overseeing Sahat Sahulat Cards issues a notice to halt treatment in the province’s hospitals.
