The General Fire Service Directorate (GFSD) has closed 39 shops and warehouses across multiple governorates for violating fire safety regulations.
These businesses were penalized for not acquiring the required fire licenses and failing to follow established safety protocols. Despite receiving prior warnings, the establishments did not address the issues.
This action is part of the GFSD’s ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and ensure adherence to fire safety standards. The directorate stressed the crucial need for proper fire licensing to mitigate potential hazards, reduce fire risks, and safeguard lives and property.
