Seven people lost their lives in a tragic incident involving gunfire over a land dispute in the neighboring village of Qazi Ahmed Pur, located in the Shaheed Benazir Abad district of Sindh.
Police officials reported that the bodies were transported to Civil Hospital Shahpur Jahanian following the unfortunate incident.
The clash occurred between two groups in the village of Wahid Bakhsh Dahiri, which belongs to the Dahiri community.
This recent incident echoes a similar violent confrontation in February 2022, where five individuals, including a police officer, were killed. Seven others were injured due to armed members of a community firing upon their rivals in a dispute over property and agricultural yields.
The ongoing disputes involve communities such as Zardari, Bhand, and others in the Kaccha area of Nawabshah, all embroiled in conflicts over land and crop yields.
