ISLAMABAD: Legal action has been initiated against Senior lawyer Sher and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, with a case formally filed at the Abpara police station.
The charges leveled against them encompass several infractions, including disrupting traffic, violating Section 144, and breaching the No Objection Certificate (NOC).
These allegations stem from their active involvement in orchestrating a musical night program at Shakarparian.
The case further alleges that Sher Afzal Marwat, during the aforementioned program organized by a student organization, not only disrupted public order but also incited students.
Additionally, he is accused of allowing and endorsing speeches that were critical of Pakistan and the government.
The formal complaint, lodged by the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Abpara police station, goes beyond Sher Afzal Marwat, naming a total of twenty individuals involved in the organization of the event.
This comprehensive legal action reflects a response to alleged activities that contravene public safety and raise concerns about potential anti-state sentiments.
