Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been hospitalized in Mumbai after experiencing shortness of breath, repoted Indian media.
Reportedly, Bachchan was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai and underwent a heart operation after falling ill.
The decision for the operation came after Bachchan complained of feeling uneasy during events, leading to his admission to the hospital and subsequent angioplasty procedure.
Fortunately, Bachchan is said to be in stable condition and is reportedly recovering well after the procedure.
Earlier, Bachchan had posted a tweet on his social media account expressing gratitude, followed by another tweet promoting his Indian Street Premier League team.
The news of Bachchan’s hospitalization has sparked concern among fans and well-wishers awaiting updates on his health.
This isn’t the first time Bachchan has undergone medical treatment; earlier this year, he had surgery for his wrist, and last year, he suffered an injury while shooting for a film in Hyderabad.
