The Lahore High Court Issues Notices in Ducky Bhai Gambling App Promotion Case, seeking responses from all parties involved after hearing the post-arrest bail plea of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai.
Justice Farooq Haider presided over the hearing and issued notices to the respondents, including the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), before adjourning further proceedings. Advocate Imran Chadhar appeared in court on behalf of the petitioner.
In his plea, Saad ur Rehman contended that the NCCIA had arrested him at the airport while he was departing abroad, without serving any prior notice or summons. He further stated that following his arrest, he was kept under NCCIA custody on a ten-day physical remand.
The petition names the NCCIA and other related institutions as respondents. The court has now directed all concerned parties to submit their replies before the next hearing.
