LHC rejects plea against Zardari

LAHORE:  The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday rejected a petition seeking trial of former president Asif Ali Zardari under article six of constitution.
A per details, leader of All Pakistan Muslim League Ilyas Gujjar filed a plea stating that Asif Ali Zardari had used provocative language against the Pakistan Army which is against the constitution and harmful to the nation’s harmony, therefore, the court should name him in treason case.
Subsequently, court rejected the petition and stated that no investigation can be launched against anyone on the basis of accusations only.
